The Story Starts Here
It all started in 1993. Joginder and Swarnjit Shah were brand new to British Columbia and settled in a small town just outside of Vancouver called Maple Ridge. This was a long time ago, and most of BC hadn't experienced truly authentic Indian cuisine. One thing led to another, and GM Restaurant was opened for business. Popularity of the restaurant and its dishes led to many asking for spice blends to use at home — so we made them. Today the very same blends are packaged for your kitchen, and every purchase helps us honour our family's mission of feeding people across BC.
